serine protease inhibitors,
aprotinin protease inhibitor
Recombinant Aprotinin or BPTI or Trypsin Inhibitor, From Bovine Lung, Specific Activity 3 EPU/mg pro.
Basic Pancreatic Trypsin-inhibitor
Anonym: Trypsin Inhibitor
Source: Expressed in E. Coli
Aprotinin is a competitive serine protease inhibitor that inhibits trypsin, chymotrypsin, kallikrein and plasmin. Aprotinin forms stable complexes with and blocks the active sites of enzymes. Binding is reversible with most aprotinin-protease complexes and dissociating at pH >10 or <3. Effective concentration is equimolar with protease.
Recombinant Animal Components Free
Recombinant aprotinin is expressed in E. Coli, and purified by HPLC. It contains no animal-derived components. This is a recombinant form of bovine lung aprotinin, which is traditionally isolated from bovine lung by methods involving fractional precipitation, gel filtration, and ion exchange chromatography.
STABILITY OF STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
Stability of storage: Recombinant aprotinin liquid should be stored under -20℃ in sealed container. It is stable within 6 months at 2-8℃.It is no activity loss after 6 times repeated freezing and thawing.
Stability of transport: The product is stable by bue ice insulation transport.
