1.Description

Soybean trypsin inhibitor is a serine protease inhibitor, which can inhibit the activity of trypsin, chymotrypsin, and plasmin. The ability to inhibit trypsin is higher than that of chymotrypsin and plasmin. A suitable pH range for inhibiting trypsin is pH 6.0-10.0. Inhibitors and protease can be effectively combined in equimolar amounts to form stable complexes to block the active site of the enzyme. Recombinant soybean trypsin inhibitor was expressed by recombinant E.coli and contains no animal-derived contamination and no other protease.

 

2.Product Features

(1) Appearance: This product is white, off-white, off-yellow powder with a loading of 1.0 and 10.0 mg / branch (based on enzyme protein content).

(2) Specific enzyme activity: ≥1.0 U/mg pro.

(3) HPLC purity identification: the main peak purity by area normalization method is not less than 90%.

Inhibitor enzyme activity unit: The ability to inhibit the activity of a trypsin unit is called an inhibitor activity unit (U).

Inhibitors and protease can be combined in equimolar amounts, the recommended pH for combination is pH>6.0 , inhibitors and protease won’t be combined when pH<5.0.
